World Hello Day: A crowdsourced film

HELLO. HELLO. HELLO.

Be part of World Hello Day: a crowd sourced film.

Connect with other INSTAGRAM users across the world and contribute short videos to a global film, made entirely from YOUR contributions.

The ideal length for the World Hello Day film is between 5-10 seconds. Do a HELLO type voxpop / talking head or get as creative as you want using animation or whatever.

Post your clip to INSTAGRAM tagging it #NextGenHELLO along with your INSTAGRAM username and country (both also hash-tagged). That way we can credit your contribution properly in the film.

The resulting global film will be appearing on the NextGenHello YouTube channel on 21st November.

The film will also screen at the MINA Mobile Film Symposium (Auckland, NZ on 21st November) Salford Media Festival’s Next Generation: (Thursday 21 and Friday 22 November at University of Salford at MediaCityUK)

Worldwide entries open from Monday 4 November, entries open to UK filmmakers on Monday 11 November.

Entries close at 12 noon GMT on Tuesday 19 November. Then the edit begins!

UPDATE!

The edited film is done, thank you to everyone who contributed! The film will be available online at 12am GMT on 21st November (7pm 20th Novmber EST/1pm 21st November NZDT)

It will be screened at MINA Mobile Symposium, Auckland NZ, at 6pm and at various times  in the day at Next Generation at Salford Media Festival, MediaCityUK.
